My Marich Meeting

Every Tuesday and Thursday every other week we have a group meeting to talk about what our goal is and what we nee to plan for the year to see what projects we could do the following year. And then every other week on Thursday we have our executive meetings to talk about what we should improve and what we need to do for the year and any recommendations of the projects we could do.

The Golf Tournament

On November 11, the group from I.S.K (International School of Kenya) called Friends of Marich had their 2nd annual golf tournament to raise money for the local community up in the North West of Kenya, not only will this bridge me of great help to them to cross the croc infested river but it is also in memory of one of the teachers that died in the Mt. Kenya region by being trampled by a mother elephant about 2 years ago. This bridge will be a great activity to achieve and put on your CV and show that you are a very well rounded person, going from organizing the golf tournament to actually building the bridge.

Organizing The Golf Tournament

On Friday the 11th of November i am organizing a golf tournament at a local Golf Club, and to do this we need to get sponsorships from corporations, prizes, and people to play in the tournament. It is a very fun day people enjoy themselves and it is a great success. The money we raise here goes towards us building a bridge to help the local community and to save them time from crossing the river.
